Greetings!!!
First and foremost thanks for taking time out of your busy day to check on a very important mission!! This mission is going to be achieved by Gary a long time friend of mine, as well as a long time on and off gym partner.
First of all WHO is this Gary fella? He is like so many of you who will read this progress report. He thinks he can make it to 7am work outs, strives to do a 5 day a week workout schedule, thinks chest workouts should be 3 times a week, takes to many trips to the fast food restaurant and we'll leave it at etc, etc, etc for now.
WHY is this blog being set up? It's being set up to motivate each person who takes time to visit this site. When you start to see yourself in Gary and you come to see the progress, the determination, and even the failures he experiences, you'll find yourself excited to see if HE as well as WE can all reach the goal of beating the 90 days till I can see my feet goal!!!
WHEN does this start? Well, that’s a great question as this HARD work will begin February 23rd (Monday) 2009. The completion to this mission is May 22nd (Friday) 2009!!
WHERE? Weight training will take place at a Peak Fitness in Charlotte, NC along with plenty of cardio done on the football field. The trick is to get Gary to think all the running around we do is for fun!! Fun does go with working out!!
WHAT we are looking for people to do is support Gary in his progress and want to approach this with a will do-can do attitude. We don’t want to sabotage Gary’s progress with impossible goals such as: “so from now on I’ll NEVER eat ….”…and things of that nature. We want to eat and live healthy and always have that can do attitude.
HOW will this work? Progress will be kept on Gary’s workouts each day so the following will be covered: muscle group worked on; amount of sets, reps, and weight used for that muscle group. Also we'll cover his diet morning and night!! Photos and weight milestones will be shared.
WE WELCOME TIPS AND POINTERS FROM THOSE WHO ARE UP FOR THE MISSION!! Guest comments are always welcome as well!!
Gary it is time once and for all that your talk finally walks the walk!!!
